The Merge Referring Doctors feature allows you to combine duplicate entries into a single, clean profile, ensuring data consistency across patient records and referrals.
📍 Where to Find the Feature
To access the Merge Referring Doctors tool:
Navigate to Settings in the left-hand sidebar.
Select Referring Doctors.
Click the “Merge” button in the top-right corner of the screen.
This will open a Merge Referring Doctors modal with step-by-step instructions.
🔄 How to Merge Doctors
Once the modal is open, follow these steps:
Select the Doctor to Keep
On the left side of the modal, choose the correct or most complete referring doctor profile you want to retain.Select the Doctor to Merge
On the right side, choose the duplicate or outdated doctor profile you want to merge into the one on the left.Review Patient Count
You’ll see how many patients are currently associated with each profile. This helps you confirm you’re merging the correct records.Confirm the Merge
Click Merge & Delete to complete the process.⚠️ This action cannot be undone. Please review carefully before proceeding.
✅ What Happens After the Merge?
All patients and referral records from the merged (deleted) doctor will be transferred to the selected primary profile.
The merged doctor’s profile will be permanently removed to avoid future confusion or duplication.
