How to Use Dot Snippets in Kubo Surgical

Updated over 6 months ago

Dot Snippets are a quick and easy way to insert your saved notes while documenting in Kubo Surgical. This feature saves time and helps you stay consistent in your charting.

What Are Dot Snippets?

Dot Snippets are shortcuts to your existing snippets. Instead of navigating to insert a snippet manually, you can now type a period (.) in any snippet-enabled text field to bring up a list of your saved snippets.

How to Use Dot Snippets

  1. Click into a snippet-enabled text box
In any clinical section with a notes field (e.g., Incision/flap notes), click into the text field to begin typing.

  2. Type . (a single period)
This will instantly bring up a list of your saved snippets for that text box.

  3. Navigate and insert
Use your arrow keys to scroll through the list and press (Enter) to insert.
Press esc to dismiss the list if you change your mind.

💡 You can still click Insert snippet if you prefer using your mouse.

Dot Snippets are available anywhere snippet functionality is supported—making it faster than ever to document your procedures with clarity and consistency.
