Kubo Surgical makes it easy to document procedures that are performed on the same day as a consultation or exam. This allows one note without having to create a separate visit. Follow these steps to document a Same Day Procedure:
1. Consultation/Exam Note
In the Consult/Exam preview screen, edit your note as needed. Instead of tapping the green finalize button, add a procedure.
2. Click the "Same Day Procedure" Button
Once you’ve finished reviewing the note, click the “Same Day Procedure” button at the top of the visit screen.
🔺 You’ll find this button near the visit date and provider information, just above the clinical note editor (see screenshot below for reference).
3. Add the Procedure Details
After clicking the Same Day Procedure button, proceed as usual, documenting your surgical procedure.
4. Finalize the Visit
Once both the consultation and the procedure notes are complete:
Click Finalize to save the visit.
This will ensure that both the consultation and procedure are documented under the same visit record.
