What is my Practice ID?

Your Practice ID (also called the Practice Identifier) is used when logging in with a username. Learn where to find it in Kubo and how to copy it.

Updated today

Your Practice ID is a short identifier for your practice (often related to your practice name). You’ll need it only if you log in with a username.

When do I need a Practice ID?

You’ll be asked for a Practice ID if:

  • You’re logging in with a username (instead of email)

  • You’re helping a team member log in using username-based access

If you log in with email, you typically won’t need your Practice ID.

Option 1: Find your Practice ID from your avatar menu (fastest)

  1. In the top-right of Kubo, click your avatar/initials.

  2. In the dropdown, look for Practice ID.

  3. Click the copy button/icon next to the Practice ID to copy it to your clipboard.

  4. Paste it into the login screen when prompted.

Option 2: Find your Practice ID in Settings

Navigate to Settings

  1. Go to Settings

Copy your Practice ID from the Practice tab

  1. In the left sidebar, click Practice.

  2. Under Account Information, find Practice Identifier.

  3. Click the copy button/icon next to the Practice Identifier to copy it.

  4. Paste it into the login screen when prompted.

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see Practice ID in the avatar dropdown
Try the Settings → Practice method above, or ask an Admin to confirm you’re in the correct practice.

  • I’m still unable to log in
Double-check you’re using the correct username + Practice ID combination. (Practice ID is tied to the practice, not the individual user.)
